The Custom Products Handguard Adapter. The "Custom Products Hand Guard Adapter " is REQUIRED to attach the custom products hand guard. To add handguard simply remove the thread protector, thread on your thread adapter and add the hand shroud. The thread adapter is the same thread as the AR-15 1 7/8" - 20 thread.
